Braxton Hicks Contractions

So Im almost 25 weeks and I think I may be having braxton hicks contractions. I was just wondering what they feel like and if you can get them this early and if I should worry about it. They are mild pregnancy cramps and they are really irregular but closer together. Im just nervous that its the real deal and Im missing the signs of preterm labor. Ive been having them for about 2 days now.

I def think position has a lot to do with it. My wee man is lying sideways and I reckon when he stretches he's sparking them off. Spoke to my midwife today at my appt about them and she said not to worry, it's not really that unusual at this stage.

Its hard because my periods were always really bad. It feels like im starting my period. Cramping. The baby is moving around fine. his head is in my pelvis and has made it painful for my right hip. Maybe its just his head.

This is very normal. At this stage in our pregnancy (I'm 25 weeks too) they shoudnt really be painful yet. Just a tightening/hardening of the abdomen.

I've been having them for a while too, I'm just 22 wks today. I dont remember having them this early with my other 2. They are tightenings, but shouldnt hurt, sometimes they kinda take your breath away, but the main thing is that they are painless. Real labour starts with a pain very much like period pain and grows stonger. Hope that helps a bit!!
