Braxton hicks

I was wondering at how many weeks do you began to feel braxton hicks? Im 28wks today and haven't felt any braxton hicks.

I'm 27 weeks 2nd pregnancy and I've been feeling them since 23 weeks. I've never noticed them with my first until towards the end of the pregnancy.

Sometimes it will be baby turning, but for me that quite often sparks off some BH. I dont remember noticing them at all with my first until my last week or two, and the same with my second, but this time I first noticed at about 20wks...either I just know what it is this time or my uterus knows exactly how to prepare itself now which makes me a little hopeful that for the first time I might not end up overdue!!

I have felt that tight buring sensation in the middle of my belly. I thought that was my Baby pressing against my tummy. So those are BH thanks Ladies for your input.

Im sure that the tightening feeling a couple of you are talking about is a BH contraction... they for the most part are painless... some woman do experience discomfort but not everyone does...

Everyone has them, they start around 6 weeks and go all the way through the pregnancy... Usually around the mid point of pregnancy you may start to feel them but not everyone does... its common to go through the whole pregnancy and never notice them...

I've been getting a tightening feeling in this one part of my stomach and my friend told me it was braxton hicks, but I am still unsure if it was or not. I also read online it kind of feels like really intense period cramps. This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what anything is suppose to feel like.

i didnt feel any with my daughter. im currently 27 weeks with my 2nd and started gettin them on friday. guess every pregnancy is different x

what do they feel like is it the top of your belly that tightens coz iv had that a few times wondered if it was braxton hicks? x

Some women never have braxton hicks. Every pregnancy is different:)
