GBS
Has anyone been positive with GBS? In a past pregnancy or your present one? Did you take medication for it or use home remedies? Did it affect the baby?
I was group b strep positive. Didn't get all the antibiotic before my little man was born, but he has no complications
They gave me a medicine through my iv as soon as I went in to labor and I tested positive again for my second baby and they said they will just do the same as before. So once my contractions get strong enough I'm told to head down so they can give that right away.
All that is needed is they will put you on antibiotics for some time before you deliver and the baby will receive them after birth as well.
