Is it healthy to be at the salon if your pregnant inhaling all the different chemicals.

I am no expert, but I would think that inhaling the fumes probably isn't the BEST thing in the world... I will say this, and this doesn't mean much of anything, just a bit of info on this topic, I knew a lady who worked in a nail salon her whole pregnancy... she ended up having a still born. Now, I'm not saying the salon is what caused it, but when I went to the salon and smelled the fumes while I was preggers, I left just to be on the safe side after hearing that story. So... it's just something to think about I guess.

You should avoid certain chemicals when pregnant,most saloons now,know the dangers of these when pregnant,so have adapted there chemicals for this.but as worriedd612 said if the room is well ventilated should be ok.

yeah i get my nails done a lot...just make sure the room is well ventilated...you can also request a mask to wear on your face.
