Need advice about pregnancy!

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since the beginning of august. My last period was at the end of july. I am really confused because its now mid september and I still dont have my period. So I'm like over 2 weeks late. I took 3 home pregnancy tests but they all came back negative. I have all the symptoms of being pregnant. It's not normal for me to be late on my period. I really want a baby bad and I dont know if maybe there is another reason as to why I'm so late. So could I still be pregnant even though the tests say negative?

Did you use the first morning urine?  That sample is the most concentrated and will yield the most accurate results.

It could be that you are stressing about this or that you just want to be pregnant so much that your hormones are a little messed up at the moment causing you to be late.

It is not unheard of for women to get negative test results even when they are several months pregnant.

If you didn't use the first morning urine, I would do another hpt in the morning with your first urine.  If you did use the fmu, have your doctor do a blood test to check for pregnancy.  They are more accurate than the urine ones.  If it is negative, it is probably stress/medication/etc. related but your doctor could do more testing to check your hormone levels and to look for other causes.

Hi, its hard to imagine that a pregnancy test would be wrong, especially 3 wks late for period..... I think you should see a doctor.... Pregnancy tests are usually right, 99.9% of the time after missed period.
