Need help! Scans!

I had a scan over a week ago! It said I was 10 weeks 6 days, I thought I was 10 weeks 4 days as had my scan at 6 weeks 6 days. So there was 2 days between um. Now I am 12 weeks today so when would it mean I conceived?!
I have my scan on Monday, could they tell me I'm 15 weeks really?! Or would my scan be accurate ish?!
If I'm 12 weeks today does it mean I'm 10 weeks really?!

DNA I wouldn't need to do 1. He's a diff colour to my partner. Well had another scan yday as my cyst has burst and it's still 12 weeks. So I don't think this could be my exs.. I had sex with my ex 10th
Sept so I think they would pick up on that more don't u? 10th July I'm due

Counting from your little spot on Oct. 4 as a period puts you at 12 and 1 exactly, which matches up to your scan results.

Well, I had a spot of blood in December and that counted as a missed period for me. So if we go by your last period on Aug. 27, that would put you at 17 weeks, 4 days. And unfortunately it would also mean there's a good possibility that it's your ex's, since conception would have been around early to mid-September.

However I doubt your scan would be off as much as 5 weeks, so it seems more likely that you aren't quite that far along if the doctor says you're measuring more like 10-12 weeks. The only way you're going to be 100% sure is with DNA though. What due date did the doctor assign for you?

If you use 4th October as your last LMP the dates should roughly work out. 40 weeks from October 4th is July 10th which would mean you conceived roughly 2 weeks after the 4th October.

I no its nothin to worry about but I was naughty in September on the 10th and slept with my ex.. Well on the 10th so now I'm worried that it could be his.. But my scan was 10 weeks 6 days which makes me 12 weeks 1 day now.. Do you think it could be my exs? Do you think they could tell me I'm more?

Pregnancy dating adds 2 weeks to your actual conception date.  So yes, if you are considered 12 weeks pregnant then you conceived 10 weeks ago.

Ultrasounds can easily be off by days, sometimes even a week or so.  the 2 day discrepancy is nothing to worry about.

I would love to do that.. But I ain't had a period since 27th August.. I has a spot of blood on the 4th October and that was it... Yeah I've had 3 scans.. But the last 2 I had there was 2 days between them. So you think I'm about 12 weeks then?!

OK I'm a little lost here. You got a scan that said 10w 6d and you thought it should be 10 w 4 days, so it's only off by 2 days? Scans aren't an exact science, being off by a few days is perfectly normal. You can't use them reliably to pinpoint conception. The doc is going by average measurements and development signs.

Drs date your pregnancy by your last period. They add two "weeks" in there to account for the time between when you got your period and when you probably ovulated. So for example, if you think it's been 10 weeks since you GOT PREGNANT, they will tell you that you're 12 weeks pregnant -- they add two weeks to the real age of the baby.

The reason they do that is because in the old days they didn't have hpts and ultrasounds. The only way to date a pregnancy was to figure out when you skipped a period and count from there.

You can backdate from your due date, or count two to three weeks from your last period to get an idea of when you conceived.
