OT; Had the craziest dream... think I know what I'm having.

K this is a bit OT, but when I was pregnant with TJ at 8 weeks, I had a dream that I'd had the baby, and DH had laid him on my chest. I asked "did I have the baby?" and DH said YES. Then I asked what it was and he said "we had a boy".
So in the dream I said I wanted to name the baby Tyler. I never dreamt of having my baby again during the entire pregnancy, not boy or girl.... Then I had TJ! (a BOY)....
The women in my family for some reason always seem to display gifts, be it discernment, or other stuff... IDK if I would have anything, I just know on more than 1 occasion, when I dream about something it happens. Maybe not always that EXACT way, but similar. lol.... if I did have some sort of gift, that would be very interesting. lol

Anywayse, last night I had a strange dream... In my dream I got to see my kids 22 years from now.

I had a dream that somehow A friend and I managed to go  forward into  the future and see my family.  We went into the house and I got to see my mother, and my father, Not Carlos, he was at work and I was home.   Later I got to go onto the computer and see what my life up to that point had been like. It showed each birthday (I think every 5 yrs actually) and likes and dislikes, husband/significant other… and kids.
(Things were a little different, Treatments for disease/physical problems were a bit different. for example. TJ’s hearing aid lit up like an LED light and blinked….)

I got to see TJ all grown up. He needed a hearing aid and still spoke sign language, he had drk blond hair at the tips/light brown near the roots… and Brown eyes (can't remember the eyes exactly)???

He was 22 yrs old and had just graduated high school the previous year. I walked into his room and he was on the computer. He knew right away who I was even though I was 22 yrs younger. We only ever had 2 children, him and a little girl who has blond hair. I don’t know if she had the skin problem, because in my dreams I never have the skin problem. TJ never did either in my dreams.
I got to see all sorts of pictures of him growing up, I saw pictures of him as a baby, and then a toddler. I saw pictures of him as an older child (around 8) and then as an adult.  He was slightly overweight  as an adult but thin throughout his childhood years. and you could always tell who it was in the pictures, he had a SLIGHT speech problem but it was very minor. more like  a tiny lisp...... Then I woke up... I woke up crying, because in my dream I'd gotten to see all the things my son had been able to accomplish. (With down syndrome every parent has a fear at some point of not knowing what they're child will grow up to do)

I wrote it all down and saved it on my computer.. it would be very cool if that's how things turn out to be!!! (esp. if I turn out to have a baby GIRL)

I think that is cool. Def write it down! I have dreams that come true every day. I too see what will happen. The problem is that we don't realize it until it happens. So, write it down and keep it in a safe place and that way when it does happen you will have a record of your dream. If it isn't true than you sill have a great dream.

I never had any "telling" dreams, but my dad dreamed I was pregnant before anyone knoew I was pregnant (I had only known for a few days), and my sister dreamed of a blond haired blue-eyed boy-- which is exactly what I had!  

Funny, because I am brown haired/brown eyed, my daughter is blond/brown eyes, and my other son is brown/green eyes, so the blond/blue combination was definitely not a "given" (tho DH is blond/blue)!

kiki~ I won't be dissapointed if we have a boy. lol, but it was odd that I saw what time I'd been born, and my mom verified it!   i've never seen, heard, or been told what time I was born before today.

I believe dreams have meanings, I had a baby girl in all my dreams for this pregnancy, and SHE is now here. I also knew my last 2 were boys, She also looks just like the baby from my dream, except the older she was in some dreams she had some curls, right now it's too early to tell if that is right.

I say if the dream made you happy believe it! Just don't be disappointed if your having another boy :) Good luck to you!

Ok... here's something SUPER Creepy!!!! I just asked my mother what time I was born... 4:47am.

I looked on my computer to what I'd written about the dream..... 4:47am.

my mom told me she has NEVER told me what time of day I was born!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how wierd is that???

lol, Thanks ladies! :) When my mom was pregnant with me and my brothers, she knew I'd be a girl and  they'd be boys. She knew I'd have the skin problem and not them..... So I fully believe that sometimes dreams tell us stuff... (i'm not into all that strange stuff... this is one subject I believe in tho!)

We will see..... I've gotta ask my mom something, because in the dream... When I was looking at past bdays on the computer. It said that my birthday is around 4 something AM...... IDK what time I was born. I don't think my mom has ever told me, but I"m gonna go ask her now that she's awake. (she had a bad night with her kidneys)

That's really cool. I had ONLY girl dreams starting around 8weeks. Same for my dh. The one boy dream I had I was holding the baby and the nurse came over and said "that's not yours" she takes the boy and hands me a girl. Well we are having a girl so I say go with your dream!

I really wanted to have a girl but during my pregnancy I dreamed I had a boy, a girl, a cat and a dog. Dreams are our way of expressing our desires, you really want a girl and for TJ to be ok in the future and so your unconscious mind played back the things you've been thinking about even if you yourself haven't really been thinking about it.

i always dreamt i was having boys with my others, and i knew they were boys. however, this time i knew i was having a boy ( not sexed at that point, but just knew) but actually dreamt i'd had a girl. i think it's because everyone and everything except me was saying i'd have a girl. cool dream, anyway.

so far with this pregnancy i have had several dreams about twins... but so far (35wks now) there is only a singleton in there...lol

Before I knew I was pregnant I was having dreams about being pregnant, and then when I found out I always had dreams about a boy, and I desperately wanted a girl, but always dreamed about a boy - and I am having a BOY! So who knows, I hope you get your girl!! :]

Pinkbelle~ IDK... it's possible. I do know that with TJ We REALLY REALLY wanted a girl then too... but I dreamt of a boy.     It was a crazy dream. :)

i honestly believe you had a dream about a little girl because you want a little girl... i had lots of dreams during my pregnancy... our hormones go very crazy when we are pregnant and some of my dreams were very vivid..
