I am not very familiar with PCOS, but I have read that you can just have it on one side. Have you tried googling it at all? You may be able to find more info that way. Hopefully someone else on here has more info for you!
Yeah but I have been so sore today after my sonohysto that this is the first time I am on the computer! My doc said it is like having contractions to get the saline out... It *****! I get my consultation next monday so hopefully I will be able to get some answers. Thanks for the reply tho! :)
Yes you can, or it could be harder to see the other ovary. My left ovary is a lot bigger than my right and usually more cystic.
i have pcos on one ovary, however its because i dont have much of the other ovary left- due to severe endometriosis, they had to remove the rest of the other ovary, so its useless.. but I am 29 weeks pregnant with that one ovary, severe endo, PCOS and male factor! : ) but i'm sure that most people have one that is more cystic than the other. GOOD LUCK
Thank you ladies. When they did my sono yesterday she looked at my right and left ovaries and told me that she had a good look at both of them and then told me that it is in fact just my right one. I am using opks and both were negative yesterday so today is cd13 and I will continue to test until I get a positive and then test after wards to make sure that it isn't my pcos acting up. Thank you ladies for all of the advice! I will let you know how it goes.
