Period after giving birth

My son will be 8 weeks old tomorrow & I still haven't gotten my period yet. I only bled for 2 weeks after giving birth. I thought I should've gotten my period by now. I'm getting worried. How long after you ladies gave birth did your period return?

My son is 2weeks old today. & I think I've stopped bleeding. there's nothing on the pad, only a lil when I wipe. but I'm not looking forward to my period coming back ! I think these 2 weeks have been enough lol

My baby is 4wks old and mine hasnt returned yet either, I'm starting to freak a little about the possibilities (even though we've been careful!)

My baby is 7 weeks and I still haven't got my period either. I'm breast feeding so that could be it. Not sure if I want it back yet, lol.

I took one & it was negative. Took another one a week later & it was invalid. I don't think I'm pregnant though. I did have a couple days where when I wiped there was some bloody discharge. Not much at all. Maybe if I quit worrying about it then it will come.

Did you take a pregnancy test to be sure thats not what could be causing no period... Just a thought.

No I'm not breastfeeding. One of my friends breastfed her son & never had a period. I went for my 6 week check up & my Dr said everything was fine but he seemed kinda shocked when I told him I wasn't bleeding & hadn't since my son was 2 weeks old. As odd as it sounds I'm ready for my period to return so maybe I can feel normal again.
