Pregnant and Second hand Crack smoke.

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant, my neighbours in my apartment building smoke crack cocain and it travels through the vents. Will this have an effect on my pregnancy? does anyone know where i can find info online about this? Help me please.

And know that there are physical dangers that come along with being near drug users...Think of drug deals gone bad. An older woman I know recently learned that her husband was smoking crack and using her car to get get the drugs. She learned this when she was walking out to her car and people started shooting at her car. Luckily there are only bullet holes in her car and not in her body. I would certainly suggest calling the police the next time you smell this going on so they can be caught in the act. You don't need this around your baby - born or unborn.

But it is illegal and more importantly it is hazardous to your health!  Nice people or not the law clearly states it is illegal

Well they are nice people, I talk to them every now and then. They dont cause any problems they just have a bad habit. I am moving into a different bigger apartment in a few months before the baby is born so the baby wont be around it. Thats why I did not call the cops, and i did not know what it smelt like until a few friends were over and a friend told me thats what it was, as her ex is a recovering addict.

umm you can probably google it but I would suggest asking your doctor or calling a nurses hot line and I would also consider calling the cops since thats also illegal....
