Thank you ladies... I have an extra high sex drive lately, and wasn't sure if it would rule out my chances of being pregnant.
with my first pregnancy My sex drive was very increased wanted to have sex all the time (was'nt having ti all the time though, because DH was traveling for work), during my 2nd pregnancy my sex drive decreased, I still wanted sex on occasion, but not as much. My third pregnancy i had no change in sex drive, but ended up MC at 12 weeks. 4th pregnancy sex drive slightly increased, wanted more, but not all the time. I am currently 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and have had increased sex drive with this one as well!! So for me it varied from pregnancy to pregnancy. my sister-in-law though has 5 kid's and it went down with every single one of them!
Mine hasn't really changed.. I did stop tho for 2 weeks until the bf couldn't stand not having it anymore... lol ... We stopped at 6w as I bled the last time I had sex... it scared us so we stopped;
I haven't bled since during sex. I''m still enjoying it :)

With my daughter I lost my sex drive until the 2nd trimester..and then I was like an animal for the rest of the pregnancy, lol. but with this one my sex drive died and hasn't come back yet (15wks) and my husband is irritated but I'm enjoying the rest.... we're usually incredibly active and It's nice to be able to just drift off to sleep LOL.
Mine has like quadrupled and has been since I got pregnant. 4th pregnancy and for everyone of them I've had high sex drive from beginning to end.
I am 13 weeks along and it disappeared almost immediatley when I became pregnant. I hope it comes back soon. I heard it picks up during the second trimester.
It varies from woman to woman but, like m3lanie, mine did, too - both times.
mine did and I'm happy about it. Now I dont have to ever wonder incase I ever miscarried or
went into preterm labour if it was because of sex. The cervix area has to remain clean and clear of germs incase one starts to dialate and or there is amnio leakage which can expose those germs to the baby. Sure Many women can't go without sex and babies are born fine and full term but not for all. But yes it is normal to have reduced or no sex drive during pregnacy but some have an increased sex drive.
