i think u can buy in small amount. n when u ll get ur baby out then u can buy more.
They told me my son MIGHT be 7 lbs. 2 days before I delivered. He came in at a whopping 8 lbs. 11 oz. so the newborn diapers only really worked while we were in the hospital. By the time he went for his 1 week appt. he was over 10 lbs. I don't know if all hospitals do this, but mine gave me about 36 newborn diapers to take home and you will probably get them at your baby shower. Everyone loves the tiny diapers, I had to exchange them for size 1's. You can put a size 1 on a baby that is around 8 lbs. so if you want to buy in bulk, buy size 1's. Good luck to you! I go to my OB/GYN on Friday to get cleared to try for round 2!!!

i bought a bunch of size newborn diapers before i had my son and it turns out he almost ougrew them immediately so with my daughter i bought one small pack of newborn and then bout in bulk size 1 diapers and that worked out great she was in size 1 for what seemed like forever and now she is 15 months old and wears size 2-3 because the size 2 are a bit too small and size 3 are huge. With this baby i plan on doing the same
I bought I think 5-6 packs of 20 in the preemie size and I went to sams club and bought 1 huge box of size 1-2 but I'm sure I'll go through pleanty of diapers a day at least 18-20
I think it was a pack of 200 and something I got at sams and it was like $36 too
I used a lot of newborn diapers but I would buy the next size up in bulk. Maybe buy a few of the individual packages of the newborn diapers. This way if the baby does out grow them, you can return them and exchange them.
