Slow rising hcg levels
Ok so here is the deal. I am starting to get really worried about my pregnancy. I am 4 weeks and had an hcg blood test on thursday with a level of 900, and then had a repeat test on Saturday with a level of 1280. I know that they are supposed to double every 2 days but mine didn't what does this mean? My doc sent me for a repeat test today and I will get the results back tomorrow, but am totally freaking out that I am gonna lose this baby, any input?
Some do not rise every 2 days. Those aer good numbers so I would not worry just yet by any means. Really they are supposed to double every 48-62 hours. Also it could of been the time of day you had them both. Just take a deep breath and let us know what it is tomorrow and the dr says. Did he check your progesterone levels???? MAKE him do this if he did not casue that can casue levels to rise slow and drop and can casue mc. They shoudl be over 25 for pregnancy!! Most reproductive endroconologists say they like them over 35-40 for the first test. I would not take no for an answer on this test!
