It sounds like you got some good advice here. I just wanted to say congrats!
Well thanks for all your help you guys, I really really really appreciate it lol
I'll try and check out that book sometime this week.
Well God bless!
The pictures are adorable. In one he seriously looks like an alien from the movie Alien. Its cute though. My lil precious...I miss being pregnant. I liked it
that discharge is normal during pregnancy it really freaked me out at first but the docts told me it was normal. The weight thing depends on the person some people gain right away others blow up towards the end. I couldnt fit into my regular jeans when i was 4.5 months, so maybe that helps? There is a book called "what to expect when your ecpecting" this might help you alot. I know i had tons of questions with my daughter, I had no idea what was normal and what wasn't
Well a possible reason why they might have not is that I couldn't give a urine sample that morning!! I tried, but hey, if you can't go, you can't go, ya know? They did draw blood afterwards, and had given me a papsmear. I'm not sure why they didn't let me hear the heartbeat or do an ultrasound. I was right at 2 months when I went, but I just didn't know what to expect since this is my first.
Well I go next week, but I'm more prepared now to know what to expect and ask for. oooo I'm so excited!
Oh, and one more question and then I'm done. I've never had a yeast infection, and to be frank, don't know what the heck that is lol I've noticed that I've had just some white creamy (not a ton though) discharge here and there, but there's no odor, no burning, nothing. Could that just be a pregnancy symptom?
And I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. I bet the pictures are so adorable though =)
Of course. I have pictures of my baby at 7 weeks. I saw the heartbeat then as well. Im surprised you haven't been asked about an ultrasound already. And if you have had one its weird that they didnt give you pictures. Mine did without asking. I still carry them in my purse even though I miscarried almost three weeks ago..I just refuse to take them out. The heartbeat normally starts around the 5th week of pregnancy, so you should have heard/seen it already.
Well I'm going to annoy them next week then to let me hear the heartbeat hehe I just didn't know anything when I went in at 2 months, and so I never thought to ask.
When do you normally start gaining weight? I would think maybe around 4 months? And not too much either. I'm so self-conscious about making sure I eat 3 times a day for the baby.
And you said you can find out the gender at about 5 months, but can they do an ultrasound before then so you can get a picture of the baby? Even though you won't know the gender.
You normally can find out the gender at about 20 weeks, which is 5 months.....they should have let you hear the heartbeat already, they SHOULD be checking it everytime you go in. They may wait for the ultra sound until 5 months but you can ask them to let you hear the heatbeat.
That's what I was thinking. But I've never been much into drinking a TON of water. So I certainly am trying to drink a good bit, but I know I'm not getting my 8 glasses a day like they say. Do you think that's harmful?
Oh, and quick question since I've got this post up....
I'm 3 months next week (yay!) and go to see the OBGYN. Do you think he'll do an ultrasound and I'll get to hear the heartbeat? And when do you typically know the gender?
Thanks again =)
It might be because you aren't drinking enough. Try drinking more water and see if that helps. That happens to me sometimes its usually a sign of mild dehydration.
