My period was supposed to start on Feb. 7th, but didn't my husband and I had sex without protection the 7th, 8th and 9th (I started my period on the night of the 9th) then we had sex again on the 11th. My cycle is normally 30 days is there any chance that I could be pregnant???

I never said couldnt get pregnant during cycle.you can not concieve during a period,as you dont ovulate when you have a period.but if you have  a shorter cycle ie as i put 24 days etc.then its possible for sperm to be laying there waiting.as for luteal phase i know its not 14 days for everyone mine went from 12 to 15.
but for this lady she wouldnt be ovulating so soon in her cycle on a 30 day one..

You CAN get pregnant during your cycle if you have a SHORT cycle.  I have a friend who got pregnant during one of the last days of her cycle, she usually ovulates a day or two after AF leaves town.

With a 30 day cycle, your chances of getting pregnant during AF are basically zero.

And not everyone has 14 days from Ovulation to AF, I have 13 days.  That number can be different for everyone, yet it's the same for every cycle.  The average is 14, I know many women who have 16-18 days from Ovulation to AF.

After ovulation,we have whats called a luteal phase.a luteal phase is always a max of 16 days no matter what.yes it can happen different days it depends.how many days your cycle is.ie if you have a 24 day cycle then ovulation can start as soon as cd10,meaning if one was to have sex during her cycle then sperm maybe waiting around for the egg.a luteal phase is never longer than 16 days,

I have been told by my doctor that Ovulation does not necessarily have to be 14 days before period. It can happen any time. MOst women Ov 14 days before but there are still many who can O at different times in the month. Any time you have unprotected sex (while on period or not) you have a chance of getting preg. I would also take a test.

There is always a chance of pregnancy when you have sex so I would take a pregnancy test (:

you cant get pregnant during your period,a period is shedding of the linning.hence you dont ovulate during your period.but if you have short periods then you can ovulate within days of period ending.but since she has a 30 day cycle its not possible.

No hun,the time you can concieve is during ovulation.this happens 14 days before your next cycle not 14 days after day you start.on a 30 day cycle you wouldnt start ovulating until the 16th day after your period.

I really don't think you could be pregnant as you wouldn't have been ovulating if your period started after having sex and the 11th is to early to ovulate
