im worried. should i be?

Im about 4 or 5 weeks along. Ive had a tummy pain since before i found out i was pregnant. They didnt find anything wrong with my lady parts in the ultra sound and my baby was too early to see. Ive had discharge but it had just been a whitish color. Til yesterday. I started spotting. It was super light in color but the same texture as the white discharge. I didnt have any pain when it came down but it still scared me. I noticed it again in the middle of the night except it had a small amount of actual blood in it. What could it be. Is my baby ok. Should i be worried?? My mom said as long as its not an actual flow or tissue i should be fine..... Anyone??

If shes not concerned, i wouldnt be concerned either. Like the other ladies said, its pretty normal for that to happen.

It's not dangerous,  as long as your getting breaks to sit down often you are fine.  My job that I recently quit due to standing was causing me unbelievable back pain and they never really gave. Me long breaks.  Work as much as you can hun (:

My best tip to you is just to stay calm and get rest.  I know how you feel because I was in your situation at 6 weeks. I freaked out,  went to the er just to be told it's normal and shoved out with a 1,000 bill.  The nurse told me in all honesty if you feel something isn't right then it's best to contact your ob to get further judgment.  But in reality there' nothing that they can really do to save a pregnacy if something goes wrong.  The most would be to save you first sadly.  So just relax and get rest dear.

I'd call and just let them know I had spotting for a few days in the beginning and now I'm 25w3d with a healthy little girl so I'm sure it's nothing but like I said I'd call and let them know I did and they had me come in to check everything just to make sure

For me, I worry all the time... I never had any implantation bleeding but some tips on how to say calm would be that you could try to do something to distract you from it... You could always call your doctor/midwife just for reassurance or even make a quick appointment, that always helped me since you never really know!

I spotted at 6 weeks with brown discharge.  I also spotted a pale pink at 10 weeks.  It's always normal to have discharge in those colors cause majority of the time it's plantation bleeding meaning your baby is just getting settled in your uterus! You will get cramping up till your 10 weeks that will worry you enough to make you believe somethings wrong.  Just remember your very early and your uterus is going to make room for the baby to grow!

I had spotting for a few days early in pregnancy! Mine was mostly all dark drown. But some light pink as well. It is very normal. But if you start to actually bleed almost like a period, then you should see if you can get in for an earlier appointment. But for now I wouldn't worry. The exact same thing happened to me :)

From what my doctor has told me light spotting can be normal and many women ecperience it during pregnancy as long as you don't have pain with it and its not like a full period. However, I'm definitely a worrier and i would tell your doctor and get your hormone level checked just to ease your mind.
