I'm in the UK too, I'm afraid I also think physio is probably all they will offer. I had to have it with my first 2, but weirdly my hips and sciatica have behaved this time and I'm 36wks now!! Good luck!
Thank you for your advice, looks like another trip to the docs for me. Paracetamol doesnt touch it for me either. Fed up of being in pain, cant hardly move at times and have a 21month old. Anyway thanks for getting back to me.
I'm also in the UK and at around the same time I ended up going to gp who referred me for physio. The hospital ran it as an antenatal class and then assessed each of us individually. I have 2 belts to wear to keep my back in the correct position and go back for physio on my back. It does help but unfortunately there's nothing you can take for the pain, for me paracetomol barely did anything.
Could it be sciatica? I had it and there's nothing you can take for it..look up the symptoms and see If it sounds like what you've been getting.. xxx
