Haha yea i figured that was just a typo!
And it gives me some relief to know that its normal not to poop everyday. Thank you!!
I agree, my son would go 3-4 days easy without pooping at that age, still does sometimes, unless he seems uncomfortable don't stress. My doctor said if he did start looking uncomfortable try gas drops or a lubed rectal thermometer, sometimes that gets things moving.
Haha just reread my post....don't worry im not gonna call ur dr! Stupid smart phone!! Lol
As long as the baby don't seem to be in pain I wouldn't worry cause some babies don't poop every day (mine did) but a friend of mines daughter which was the same age as mine didn't go but every three days...just watch if the baby straines a lot or crys if that happens call the doc unless u feel u need to now...always go with ur gut cause u are the only one that knows what is best for ur child and don't ever let anyone tell u differant....congrats on ur little one.
Thank you ladies. He doesn't seem uncomfortable, he was a happy baby when he woke up, just talking away and kicking his legs lol. And he is still eating and sleeping like normal. I will check with his doctor just to be safe.
At around 2-3 months their digestive system matures more so they may poop less often and especially since u r giving formula(it can be constipating too) I wouldn't give a baby younger than 6 months plain water, its not advised by drs. If your baby doesn't seem uncomfortable I wouldn't worry. However if u feel unsure still I can always call ur dr. Good luck.
I wouldnt worry too much unless he seems uncomfortable. If he's struggling then maybe try giving some water (just a little) between feeds, it usually helps. My wee man only poops every second day and he certainly aint constipated! He can get it right up to his neck! lol
No.sweetie. if u feel like something is wrong then call.
I was 17 when i had my first and he went on 4 days with out poopin and i called the hospital and he said if ur brestfeedin sometimes they will go on for a whole week but not latrr than half. Goodluck
I would def give his pediatrician a call just to be on the safe side they can advise you if this is normal or not. Usually babies are eating sleepin peeing and pooping machines so I would call asap.
