trying to conceive - dry vagina

i am 32 yrs old married indian women. we have been married for 1yr 4months and have been intimate for 8 months. but we used to indulge in only foreplay as we wanted to wait for 1yr before conceiving. Now we are trying to conceive but i am facing a problem. my vaginal discharge / mucus secretion had decreased and is hardly there and i do not get aroused too. i have regular periods and this issue has started from 2 months. due to this my husband is unable to penetrate me and it pains also. kindly guide me what is the reason for this and how to overcome it. i dont think i am stressed or anything but cant figure out the reason. can i take any medicines or tests.

I agree with Annie.  Even when I dont need it, I use lube with my husband, I find it makes everything easier..  I was sexually assaulted by an ex bf, and for quite some time struggled with believing sex was painful, which caused my to get quite stressed at the time of penetration, which made me tighten up and made things worst. Lube has helped alot and its really not an issue anymore.  I imagine if you are anticipating it being painful now, it makes the situation harder.  Plus foreplay can go a long way, I dont know how people go straight for penetration (I like to believe most people dont, but speaking to friends it seems to be the norm so)

It might just be b/c you are ttc, it happened to us a few times and I swear it was the stress of it rather than just having sex for fun.
Regular lube is not recommended for use in trying to conceive, they say it can kill sperm which you obviously dont want. You can however get preseed which is lube created for people who are trying to conceive. I think you can get it at
early pregnancy test. com just take the spaces out. Good luck!

Could be nerves.  The simplest solution is to get a lube, in other word, a gel created for use in that area, such as KY Jelly or Astroglide.  It will help with the lubrication and with relaxing too, since it will ease any pain that his penetration causes.
