I'm a waitress at Chilis and I couldn't work past 35 weeks. It's realllly hard and I was always swollen. But support stockings help a lot, and try and sit as often as you can
Whenever you start feeling uncomfortable hun. I was going to leave my job at 30 weeks before they actually closed the company. I've had a pretty crappy pregnancy though. (Vulva varicose veins, extreme morning sickness, low blood sugar, etc) I know I wouldn't have been able to do my job right with everything that I've been going through. (Worked as a photographer)
I too work a demanding job. I am a nurse. 12 hour shifts and night work. I am going off at christmas 2 months before baby is due. I thankfully get a year off maternity leave with pay. I intend to go back part time once my maternity leave is over. But it really depends on childcare and money I guess. Different for everyone.
I host at longhorn steakhouse at night Monday-Friday and nanny during the day Monday-Friday, I plan to do it as long as possible. Hopefully until my baby boy is here. It's very tiring but I like the money so its worth it. And Im going to return to just hosting after 6-8 weeks!
I wish I could wrk, but now my.boss wants me to quit cz I almost miscarried yesterday and was in the hospital for hours /:
I was a waitress with my first. I worked up until a week before I got induced. I went back three weeks after she was born. But I was in need of money. You need the ok from your Dr before returning to work though.
