yeast infection

Hi moms and moms to be. Has anyone had yeast infection during their pregnancy? What are the symptoms? And what helps cure/prevent it?

Yes... I actually have another one as of right now. Ugh! I'm 31 and this is my 3rd one since week 28. My symptoms were the inner and outer itching, swelling, and the milky cottage cheese looking discharge. My Dr prescribed a 3 day treatment. I was told to eat plenty of yogurt and stay hydrated. She also told me that I could buy the over the counter treatments such as Monistat 3 or 7.

I had one the only thing that helped me was lots of Epsom salt baths and vagasil itch cream until my doctor gave me a prescription for it called diflucan

I've just got rid of an infection which seemed to last a week,  yep, I suffered over Christmas.
My symptoms were extreme itching around my inner labia and hood and a milky thin and watery discharge.  Other symptoms can be thick cottage cheese like consistency and swelling with itching around the vulva.
You can use natural yoghurt (must be live). But the best and most effective treatment is thrush cream (clotrimazole 2%) for external thrush and a pessary for internal thrush
