I was just induced on Friday and she was born on Saturday night , my first induction and 2nd pregnancy ... Definetly makes active labor more intense and it's a process , but if u can't manage the contractions well during induction then there's medication they can give u before u get the epidural to take the edge off contractions , this time around contractions were stronger and made things go faster but I barely pushed her and bam she was born .. Good luck anyways
Having had labor start on it's own and having been induced, induction contractions are more intense. Thee are ways to help ease the pain - warm bath, shower, massage, counter pressure, just move during those contractions and the pain will be less. There's always narcotics and epidural, too, for pain relief, but they have their cons.
From my two kids ive had thos way..its labor it all hurts if you dont use epidural etc. Honestly first time they broke my water with that tool it hurt second time didnt so much just pressure. The medication in ur ov to get ur contractions going is the real induction part and of course contractions arent fluffy pillows and popcorn its hell. So yes if your not planning for pain killer stuff youll hurt some way or another if mot
