3 months weight gain

I'm just wondering how much any of you had gained at the 3 month mark. I've gained only 1 lb. I've never been the fast metabolism type, I go to the gym and eat healthy and am thin but not because I was just born that way. With my son I gained 64 lbs by the end so I've been very aware of not gaining too much but I am eating approx 300 calories more than normal. I'm not really concerned but my family and fiancé seem to think I should have already gained some weight. My breasts are bigger, I have a tiny bump already and I am always constipated so I figured that would be a couple extra lbs but nope. And even though I was nauseous in the very beginning I wasn't actually throwing up. Could it just be that your metabolism is faster in pregnancy? Cuz honestly I don't really mind, I figure I'll gain most of it in the last half and hopefully stay in the 25-35 lb weight gain range. Just want to compare with other moms!

Ok yeah I figured it was ok because alot of women lose weight from all the sickness they have. And I'm actually happy I haven't gained alot. My fiancé keeps telling me to eat more but I told him gaining fat isn't going to help the baby! I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. Thanks ladies :)

You really dont need to gain the first three months.  I tend to lose.  I also only put on 1 lb over December which made my doctor very happy and I am 34 weeks 2 days now.  But then my doctor only wants me putting on 12-21 lbs.  She said the less weight a woman puts on the easier and better chances of a successful vaginal birth.  Everyone's body works different but if you are eating right and working out then I would not worry.  :-)
