35 week they wanna make me delivery

So I have been going to appts twice a week for ultrasounds and my little guy is way behind on growth. they are telling me if he doesn't put on more weight they want to delivery him now. I am very worried, I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am eating healthy, exercising, and getting rest. I wanna know if anyone has ever experienced this. I don't want to deliver early bc I am worried about him not being healthy. What do I do or what have you done in this situation. I have never been this scared or worried... please help....

They're estimating my baby's weight at 3lbs 10oz at 33+2 and they havent said anything to me about him being too small. Hes on the smaller side but still within a normal range. Easier said then done but try not to stress baby will be okay!

I was told that my baby girl's stomach was showing 4 weeks behind in her growth as compared to the rest of her body. Those 6 weeks were so stressful,  I did everything I could, like yourself, from eating healthy to staying active. She was only 1.7kgs in weight. But then suddenly in week 36, Within a week she caught up on her growth and put on 600 GMs within 10days. I know how scary these things are and no matter what people say you can't help but worry. But even if your baby comes now, he will be well taken care of and will put on weight afterwards. Besides every baby is different, the size depends on a lot of things. Ultrasound measurements are based on average dataset, you can always ask your doctor to map the growth on a manual map. Or ask if the internal organs are well developed and functional. I think except for lungs, all the organs should be good to go by now... Keeping you in my prayers, all the best mama.

I delivered my first at 34 weeks and my second at 36. He's going to be just fine. Pray about it. At 36 weeks he's considered full term :)

I had my baby at 37wks via c-section due to her having IUGR (meaning growth restriction) I was having 3 scans a week plus ctgs every other day. They got me to go as far into the pregnancy as possible before pulling baby out.  Her stomach wasn't growing and she wasn't getting enough nutrients from the placenta she weighed 4lbs 14oz after birth and lost a few in the days following but with me breastfeeding she started to gain weight properly and 3wks later she now weights close to 7.1/2lbs and is growing just fine. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about hun,  and baby may be better out than in. That way you know he's getting all the nutrients he needs for a healthy start in life.  I hope everything goes alright.

He weighs 4lbs 4oz, they keep telling me that everything is okay, my plecenta is healthy, the cord flow is good, that my fluid is good, but he is small they don't have an answer as to why, he just is. I just want him to healthly, this is my first pregnancy wasn't excepting all this.... you are right on the fact that the nicu is there for it.... I will just have to trust that they can keep him strong and help him grow if I cant.

Sounds like you have done what you could to be as successful as possible in your pregnancy. It could be the placenta that's not functioning correctly and if so you couldn't have done much to it. The doctors will probably check everything to see what was the cause. I would have delivered the baby and let Nicu do what they are good at, so the baby can grow better and pic up on the weight. Hope everything goes well whatever you decide to do! ;)

If he's not putting weight on in your belly, he stands a better chance thickening up once he's born. Be prepared to pump pump pump.
