That is so frustrating. I'm 22 weeks with my second and i only started feeling something on 20 weeks plus! And with my first it was around 18weeks. Bear with it if the scan is fine you should be feeling something soon. Good luck!
I am 19 weeks and barely fell it. I felt my first at 18 weeks and my twins at 15. This one isn't as early as I expected but if the scan looks great, I feel better.
Just try and remain calm because some women feel baby sooner than others. In about a week or two you'll be feeling baby moving
With my first pregnancy I had an anterior placenta meaning the placenta is behind the belly button so your baby isn't actually resting against your belly he is deep and I didn't feel him move until 26 or 27 weeks and after that his movements weren't super noticeable until he got so big that I felt him on the side. I know they say with your second pregnancy you're supposed to feel and sooner but I think an anterior placenta could still affect that
When they do your anatomy scan to check baby's body parts they will check where the placenta is then for you if they don't do it where your from ask before they finish the scan. Xx
You may have an anterior placrnta which means the thickness of your placrnta is between the baby and the exterior of your stomach. Ask your doctor about it and they will be able to tell you with your next ultrasound. It's very common and nothing to be concerned about. It just means your baby is tucked back further in your body cavity where movement from baby can be hard to detect especially with other bodily functions going on so closely.
If your worried get a Doppler helped me with my first pregnancy it puts your mind at rest i use it with my second to you get a loud noise when baby kicks it so funny I'm 19 weeks 6 days I can feel baby already.
Have you had a anatomy scan yet ?
You may feel baby bye resting your hand on your belly after drinking or eating something sweet try it.
I'v had a friend who couldn't feel her baby all the way to 37 weeks she was in and out haveing scans from 24 weeks nearly every day scans or midwifes and the problem ways she had her placenta in the front so it stopped her being able to feel baby moving.
She had a healthy 7.6lb baby girl
If this is your first it may be closer to 23 weeks or so before you feel it. When I was 20 weeks with my first and did the anatomy scan I was barely noticing little flutters, like popping bubbles almost, but within a month that kid was clearly beating my insides up. Sometimes a glass of juice and then laying in a quiet room will help you notice early on
I think you should wait till 20-22 weeks for sure you gonna feel the one
