Gained 40+ pounds?

anyone else gain a lot of weight when pregnant? I started at 114 and Im 148 lbs at 33 weeks. Ive had a rough pregnancy especially 2nd trimester, felt so out of breath it was difficult to even go for a walk.

At the start of this pregnancy I was 104kg now im about 119kg. Not sure what it is in pounds but I think its about 24-30lbs. I cant wait to start losing again. Bearing in mind I lost about 5 and a half st so roughly 500lbs before I got pregnant its completely weird for it to be alright to gain weight. I wouldnt worry about ur weight.  Whilst ur preg theres nothing u can do other than provide a safe haven for ur baby then concentrate on urself afterward. Id be more worried if u were losing weight. Enjoy guilt free and wish u all the best :) xx

I gained 40 pounds with both pregnancies and lost all but 10 the first pregnancy and all but 5 the second. I'm on number 3 now and trying to eat healthier and exercise more but have been so sick its hard.

I put on heaps every pregnancy and then lose it all by 4 months after birth. It really doesn't seem to matter what I eat - I've been pretty good this pregnancy and am 32 weeks, will probably hit the 40lb gain mark in a week or 2.
I started at 114 too... Honestly I think my body just needs the extra fat for breastfeeding and could do with even more, as after the 4 months I start to get underweight and look a bit haggard and drawn... Breastfeeding just seems to deplete me of everything...

I gained 62 lbs for my 1st pregnancy cuz I believed the ur eating for 2 BS. My pregnancy was horrible with aches n pains everywhere due to too much weight gain. My doctor finally got after me n put me on a diet but not til the last month of pregnancy.  Now for my 2nd n this pregnancies. I watch what I eat n don't over eat n definitely don't eat junk food. My pregnancies are much more comfortable minor pains. I can still sleep comfortable.  2nd pregnancy total weight gain was 17 lbs n this one I'm 29 weeks n a so far 15 lbs. .. my doc said my weight gain is excellent.  Eating healthy is the way to avoid so many aches n pains during pregnancy. . N ull have a easier delivery also. Cuz ur body will be stronger to push n for recovery.

I gained 33 pounds my first pregnancy and ate everything in sight lol. Once I delivered my prince I lost 25 of the 33 and decided to keep the 8 pounds. I did not exercise during my first pregnancy. This pregnancy, I have gained 4 pounds and am 18 weeks. Hopefully I only gained about 20 total since I am slim/thick.it is a matter of eating healthy and staying away from junk. I eat a lot of fruit throughout the day when I want something to snack on. Also, my doctor told me to stay away from juice and soda. I only drink water and zero calorie drinks.

My first pregnacy I gained 82 pounds. I ate right and was always moving around at my job. I had gestational  diabetes, and bad asthma that I had to be put on Steroids a few times. Trust me it sucked.
Just keep up walking and moving and try to eat good. Sometimes your body can't  help it.

My first pregnancy I gained like 60+ pounds but I know my wrought gain was due to horrible eating and over eating along with no exercise.
