3rd almost 4th degree tear.....

Had a baby in 2007, 9 pound 1 healthy girl born via forcep delivery. Had very bad tear, a lot of stitches, bad infections needed stitches redoing at 6 weeks post birth, had 4 months of infections and a terrible experience trying to be intimate again. Still sometimes have issues with pain! After 8 years, Now I am pregnant with number two and my OB had said c section as if my tear rips again during a vaginal birth they probably cannot fix it. Still to early to book in ultrasound only 5wks 4 days, trying to wait til I am around 8-9 weeks to get that done. So worried the hospital will try to make me deliver naturally as they do not like schedualing c sections  my OB had said He will push for an elective c section 3 weeks before due date to reduced chance of my going natural. Has anyone had anything similar to this happen to them... Everyone I know who tore bad it healed well....

Doesn't sound like it would be an elective cs if the doctor says do it.
