Cant sleep..

Just wondering has anyone else experienced restless legs at night? Had them the past 3 to 4 nights and it's driving me crazy. Takes me forever to fall asleep. This is my 3rd kid and never had this issue before.

I was diagnosed with that about a year ago, due to low vitamine B12. Been taking supplements every day and it was much better. But since i'm pregnant (14w today) its back again even though my blood level of B12 is correct. Can't try the sex though, my husband refuses to touch me since we found out i'm pregnant. He finds it disturbing (he did tell me beforehand that that would happen so it's fair, just didn't think it would be soooo hard)

Also that's probably why sex help. It makes you release dopamine.

I have been diagnosed with restless leg syndrome. It's due to low iron. Your brain needs iron to produce dopamine and for some reason low dopamine causes that feeling in your legs among other things. It is worse in pregnancy because pregnancy depletes you're iron stores. I would ask you're Dr to check you're iron levels and see if you need supplements. Do not take them if your Dr doesn't OK it you can have too much iron.

Big time. For me, keeping my legs cool helps... Which puts a blanket pile barrier with the husband lol. He hates it haha.

I tried massaging magnesium oil onto my feet last night and that seemed to help quite a bit. Slept quickly. Useful stuff is also helping to keep my nausea at bay.

I hear sex before bed helps too. I'm younger and wear him down so it's just in the morning for me :( but when it's at night too... I do sleep well and have no RSL symptoms
