5 weeks 2 days ultrasound no baby only yolk sac

Hi I went in for an ultrasound 3 days ago and they didn't see the baby only the yolk sac. I've been freaking out!!!  The Dr called me and said they want to schedule another ultrasound in 2 weeks.  They said I'm 6 weeks 2 days but my yolk sac measured at 5 weeks 2 days!!! I'm solo nervous!! :( I hope my baby is ok....BTW we have been trying to get pregnant for like 8 months now

I had an ultra sound to figure out how par along I was and that was because I have very irregular periods . But I had one it showed 6 weeks 2 days and you could see a yolk sack and a tiny blob that was the baby but that's because my blatter was VERY full and at that they had to do it Vaginal lol and I still had to go back for another at 8 weeks.

I agree, everything should be okay. 5 weeks is extremely early for an ultrasound. Really 7 weeks is too. I didn't get my first one until around 10-11 weeks this time. I'm sure everything is fine, but please keep us updated! Best if luck and congrats :)

It's still very early in your pregnancy. The yolk sac being there is a good sign, you may have ovulated later than you normally do. Try not to worry, stay positive. The same thing happened to my friend and when she went back for her second ultrasound the baby was there.

5 weeks 2 days is extremely early to see anything on ultrasound. The baby is the size of a poppy seed. I would say  seeing the yolk sac is a good sign. Try to relax because worries won't  change anything. If your pregnancy test is positive and an yolk sac is present, then mama your pregnant. You have to claim it! Now relax and think positive. -best wishes-
