38 weeks with diarrhea

So I'm not sure why I woke up with diarrhea today. Didn't try any new foods lately. I heard woman get.diarrhea right before labor. Have any of you mommies had this happen and did it go away during labor? I'm scared I'll go into labor an a have bowel movement while giving birth! Lol!

I had it a few days before my first son was born than i had it 2 hrs before my waters broke with my second. I think it is a sign labor isnt too far away. Goodluck

Super common to get it right before labor. It's the bodies way of emptying the space for baby to pass. :)

Definitely got diarrhea before my last labor. It's true that lots of women poop on the delivery table but the nurses see it all the time. No worries. My bowels were empty though so I didn't :)

I've heard of some women who get diarrhea right before labor as well. I have always heard it was to clear things out so you are less likely to poop on the table as you're pushing. Not sure if there is any truth in that. But it's a theory I think I want to stick to. :)
