Accurate gender at 12 wk scan?

Hi there! Just wondering if anyone has accurately had the gender determined at the 12 week scan? Thanks!

Thank you! That's what I thought! Must say I was very surprised when he said 95% chance of boy! He's the same sonographer as my first son, very experienced and just lovely... But I had to wait til 20 wks with my first.

I agree with Cindy82. They MAY be able to give you a "guess" if the baby is in a good position and you have a real experienced ultrasound tech but I wouldn't go out and get a bunch of pink/blue things. Wait until your next scan to be sure. 12weeks is still extremely early good luck!

They gentitals look identical until around the 15-18 week mark. My sonographers for both pregnancies, both said anyone who tries to tell you before hand is just taking a wild guess :)

I wouldn't start buying stuff just yet. Lady I worked with was told boy at 12 weeks and at 24 weeks she was told girl. Same with few people on here. Guess its a 50/50 chance though lol
