11 weeks and beyond Overwhelmed

So I thought to give this forum a try to vent. I'm what you call completely overwhelmed. I'm use to being independent, out going, and happy but since my pregnancy I've been anything but those things. I'm constantly sick... I mean 24/7 sick. Have not been able to care for myself... I'm always depending on my significant other because I'm either sick or don't have the energy. I'm constantly feeling frustrated and angry because I haven't been able to leave my house in over a month aside from the doctor's office. I feel like the laziest woman on the planet without an inch of motivation to work... even though my paycheck depends on it. I HAVE BECOME THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF MYSELF and most of the time I just want to scream. When will all these symptoms and feelings go away?
Any feedback is appreciated.  I don't know what to do any more. I'm an emotional wreck.

I am the same, normally 100 miles an hour and love being that way. I am suffering with really bad acid reflux and indigestion and only 12 weeks in!! Have had to go off work sick and just don't feel myself. I really hope the 2nd trimester is easier!

2nd trimester is the best trimester of all ! First is horrible jus cuz of everything you explained with nausea and no energy, my nausea was soo bad I literally did not eat or drink anything for 3 weeks, I threw it up within minutes I seriously looked like bella from twilight when she was pregnant. 3rd trimester is just exhausting nd you'll be annoyed with everything nd everyone cuz your soo limited of the stuff you can do like shave, sleep, tie your shoes, put on your socks. I hate when women sugar coat pregnancy. Sorry if I sound bitter im jus tryna keep it real

Thanks that helps a lot. I'll give that a try. It's been super hard letting go. Not use to taking care of business. But you are right. I'll give it a try

I hear you. Try re framing it. Right now you are nurturing yourself and your baby. You will be your old self again,  but right now you are learning how to ask for help and accept help. Skills you'll need as a mom! Don't fight it, embrace it. Indulge yourself in things that make you feel good. Let go of guilt, frustration, and shame. The more you can relax andride this out the bbetter you will feel. Our brains and our guts are wired together by nerves. The more upset we are the more upset our bodies become. Take a bath. Read a book. Drink water. Eat small meals often. Let what you can't change go and relax!

Have you talked to your Dr. about getting something for the nausea? If you can get that under control you might start feeling better about everything else. Generally around the start of your 2nd trimester is when you feel the best. Good Luck!
