Any other Mom's going for VBAC?

I'm aiming for an all natural VBAC in March 2015. Nervous because it's my first time laboring! Any Mom's going this route? Or have successfully VBAC'd? Love to connect with other Mom's on the same path :)

Well Zoeybug, if that's your choice I totally support you!

I guess for me it came down to risks. If my husband and I get our 3 kids, that will be 4 c sections and I'm terrified of those risks! Maybe talk it over with your Dr? C sections have their risks too. So, in the end it's going with the

I'm too scared. So I will be doing a scheduled csection this time :(. I'm not scared to give birth naturally I'm scared that I will hemorrhage like my mother did when she had a vbac. It's probably an irrational fear but I would rather not risk it.

I had a c-section in 2010due to IUGR.I then had a VBAC in 2011! And from my experience,  I would much rather push that baby out! I felt so much better with a vaginal delivery! I was up walking around just minutes after giving birth. I am now on my third baby and God willing, I will push this one out as well. Good luxk everyone! Yall can do it!

Interesting.  From ACOG they do acknowledge that a previous vaginal birth increases odds, but even besides that women have a 60-80% chance of success! I'm glad my Dr is open to trying anyway.  Primary c sections are so common these days, it would be a shame to refuse so many Mom's who are good candidates just for that one reason.

So excited to see so many others going for it! My c section was in 2007 for pre e complications.  As scared as I feel at times to labor, I'm even more scared of multiple c sections!  Plus all the data from ACOG about how safe it is :) I've heard in England, if you opt for repeat c section the nurses initially try to talk you out of it and go for VBAC!  Such a difference to American ideas on it.

Hope and pray ya'll get your dream birth ladies! I've been very blessed by a super supportive OB. I was so worried I would have to deny so many unnecessary things like hep-lock or IV, bed restriction, and even time limits on Labor and gestation....my Dr seems fantastic!

Im planning a VBAC next month. I was induced with my first and she went into distress so I had an emergency c section. I hope that my baby does not grow too big since I have GD.
