Anyone plays classical music to baby?

I was told by 4 different mom's that playing classical music to babies helps stimulate their brain...3 out of the 4 mom's said there kids speak 5 different languages none of the kids are over 6...One mom said her new husband didn't agree so she didn't play it with last kid and he is not as smart as his brother. ...idk anyone heard of this?

Language is developed through interacting with your baby constantly. Music is a great thing for anyone. I think it helps to learn rythym as this is also a big part of language. Kids exposed to multiple languages can speak multiple languages. Can't hurt to listen to music but I think its just part of the story.

I started classic music with my first when she was born and she's 3 now and she speaks 2 languages and just learning 2 more languages and compare to my SIL 3 year old daughter which only speak one language and don't speak that well.it scares me sometimes she's only 3 and remember and understands so many things.

I dunno if this counts, but I've found some classical songs (like vivaldi's 4 seasons) played in heavy metal version.  but I'm not sure if you'll find tupac type versions of classical songs.
