My little guy was 7lbs. 6oz. I did an unmedicated home birth with a midwife. All went well and I pushed for 20 minutes. I had a teeny tiny tear that didn't require any treatment. Good luck to you and baby!

I did get a walking epidural (where it just takes the edge off but you still feel it) but only because my labor stopped and they gave me the contraction meds.

I didn't tear but I had them cut me a little because I felt her head was too big, they said I would've torn anyway. The cut isn't bad if you have an epidural and it was completely healed by my 6 week check.

Thank you so much. I have faith I can do it, he's a little too comfortable I don't think he wants to come out yet. No cramps or nothing I just lost my mucus plug and 2 days ago I was only 3 cm I was thinking about taking castor oil

I got an epidural (a light one where I could still move and feel it but it didn't hurt anymore)
It's called a 'walking epidural' and allows you to move your legs/body and push better cause you can still feel what's going on.

I didn't tear but that's because I requested after a few min of pushing hey cut me a little to allow her head through on the next push (it worked)

My cut never hurt bad and was 100% healed by my 6 week check-up.

Thank you so much for your response, I've been a bit shaken because of his size but I'm a firm believer that god only gives you what you can bear. Did you tear a lot?

They said my son weighed 8lb 5 at 39 week ultrasound as they though he didn't have a lot of fluid in with him but said it was all good after. I had my son at 42 weeks he weighed just 8lb 2
So they do get it wrong sometimes.
I was only 8 cm dilated at the time they told me I had to deliver my son as they had to go home a 8 o'clock and she didn't want to stay any later she was new to her job but after we complained she was told one more and she is sacked, so if I can push him out of 8cm your be good to have your baby naturally love.
You still be able to have a natural birth love
Don't worry about it
You can ask to be induced sooner if you want and they are supost to do it for you but it's all up to you.
Baby will be hear soon it so exciting
Good luck love
