sex and pregnancy

So a little tmi but my husband and I have only had sex like once maybe twice since I found out I was pregnant( I found out Dec 19th) and I'm not sure if he's weirded out by the thought of it now or if its just because I'm always asleep by the time he comes to bed, I've tried to wait up for him but I just can't. And I can't help but think that he is weirded out by sex with me right now he hasn't said so but this is both of our first so I can't help but wonder. So have any of you gone through this and what didyou do??? Thank you in advance I feel like there is no one else I can ask about this.

Thanks for the responses I'm fine with having sex Iddon't feel weird at all I'm just always so tired. I just wonder if he feels weird about it. But thanks for the advice :)

It shouldn't be awkward or weird for the guy! It's a natural thing!! My bf does worry about smushing the baby but he's never weirded out by me!

My partner said it feels wierd to have sex. He just doesn't want to do it anymore. And when we do he is only getting into me like coule of santimetrs lol. I think it helps if you are on your side and he is behind....then hrs knows you are comfortable and he can't see Yhey belly so much lol.

I went completely off sex in my second and third trimesters so id tell him to get it while he can lol it got uncomfy and weird for me later on and my bf was weirded out when i started to show.... we havent had sex since i was about 22 weeks pregnant... baby is now 17 days old lol

In my first trimesters of my previous pregnancies my sex drive diminished because I was so tired. Same goes for this pregnancy. I work 50 hours a week and I am completely drained from my pregnancy. However in my first 2 pregnancies my sex drive picked up substantially after the hump of the first trimester and it was better then ever. Sex is perfectly safe during pregnancy and may even be encouraged by your doctor n the end of your pregnancy to help induce labor. Don't worry things will pick up for you in no time

Maybe reassure him it's safe and healthy! My bf is 6'5 and over 260lbs so he was worried it would hurt me w/ our 1st. Buy you're SO early in your pregnancy that there's nothing sex could do to hurt the baby :) maybe he's still processing the fact that he's gonna be a dad, too!

Honestly sex is better when ur pregnant n its completely safe unless a doc says other wise
