I googled it. I think it is the startle reflex. It has been happening to me lately.
I figure its flailing hands like a newborn would do
Maybe they're just trying to get in a comfy groove
I sometimes feel like I swallowed a vibrating cell phone? Is the best way I can describe it when he does it
I'm 36 weeks and my baby does this too.. I wonder what it could be!!
My baby does this all the time also. I'm not concerned cause I've seen newborns do this. When they stretch they do like a little shake quiver thing also...:)
Mine does this too, especially after I sneeze a bunch. It's weird n disturbing I agree, but I dunno what it is..
Sometimes I feel the same thing but we have to think whenever the baby moves there's other stuff moving too.. Lol, the sac our babies are in.. if u hit a jug of water you feel like a vibration afterwards. Our little ones moving in the sac of water and causes the same sensation as hitting a jug of water.. that how I would describe it.
Def not hiccups, it is wa faster and more violent than hiccups!
No, I know what hiccups feel like. She shakes like someone having a seizure all crazy :/
Mine does it too! It lasts longer than a few seconds tho! For like 2 or 3 minutes straight she will go nuts in there and the only way I have been able to describe it is like a seizure! I googled it and habent really found an answer but saw a lot of posts where people reported the same thing and came back saying their babies were born healthy and perfect, so no worries!
I'm not sure what it means but my baby does it to I was wondering the samething
