I know it is going to cost me $600/month for my infant so I'm just not going to work
Yep around my way new born are $135 a week, I'm just going work part time because it's like I'm working just to pay for day care
Yeah...my fiancé goes to work at noon so I'm just going to work in the mornings until he has to work...plus that gives father and son some bonding time :)
Depends on if you are looking for a sitter or something like a daycare provider. The difference being a sitter only watches your child for a few hours and a day care provider will have your child for the majority of a day.
When i think of a sitter I'm thinking a relative, a friend or someone in your neighborhood who you trust and that would depend on your relationship with them like no more than $20. Hourly.
When you are talking about someone you can drop your child off to or come to your home for most of the day who does it for a living ,the fees get higher. Like 250 a week.
I run an in home daycare. I charge $20 a day and have kids from 6:30am until 5:45pm. I provide snacks, breakfast, lunch, and beverages (unless they are still on formula or breast milk). Daycare rates are way higher than that usually though. I also have an AS degree in teaching.
That is an awesome price, for care I wish more people were like that. I'm in VA and even the private providers who care from home are high.
