Thnx ladies... Think I'm going to try just the sink for now. Than decide if I'm comfortable that way. :) Or shower with baby.

Fisher Price has decent tubs at great prices, like $20... really cheap. Should be good for the first few months when baby's small :)

I got a tub that will grow with her. Comes with a sling that she'll go in as a newborn. A seat that she'll use when shes learning to sit up, it also is supposed to block her from sliding. Then the seat can be removed amd its a full tub. I think its a fisher price brand, but I don't remember the name. It was the first thing I bought for her. Also came with a whale cup/toy and a bottle that you fill with water to rinse baby off.

Some moms i know recommended the "whale of a tub" so that's what I got. I havent used it yet so I don't know first hand how it will go in terms of a slippery baby

I just used the sink to bathe my babies. I had tubs given as gifts but never used them, I tried but gave up mid bath.

I had a tummy tub for my first. He loved it. Google it and look at the pics. It's like being back in the womb and the water isn't high enough to worry about slipping

We used the sink and then a seat that is mesh, looks kinda like a sling. Had a regular baby tub with my first, I hated it, she would slide even with padding in it, then the padding got moldy.

We bought one and NEVER used it.  I either bathed the baby in the kitchen sink (cute, and classic, photo op!) or bathed him in the tub when I was also in the tub.  He never slipped.
