Adoption/bring child into possible split family

I never wanted to have my children'live in a split family however I know it is more common now. I am 26 amd pregnant with my first.  I can remember being 10 and babysitting and just dreaming about being a mother one day.Now that dream is becoming reality probably more Monday when I see doctor for first time. However I have been contemplating adoption due to the fact I don't think the father is financially stable for a second child. I feel like I am with a good job college degree and not a great amount of debt. Should I really be considering giving up my dreams just because of his situation?  We are still together so there is no guarantee that we will stay together or split up.

Thanks. I didn't want to feel like i was being selfish by bringing a child into this world and possibly growing up with its parents separated just because I want to be a mother.

Sounds like you have your life together...there are many single mothers out there that do it and provide for their children with much less.

Honestly  you are the only one that can answer that question. But you will know in your heart what is right. And if this is truly what you want then keep that baby.

Keep your baby, you said you really always wanted to be a mommy. Its not your responsibility to worry about if he can afford another child, he should have thought about that before putting himself into that situation (it's called condoms or a vasectomy). You need to worry about you and your baby. If you are ready keep it if you are not then adopt out.
