How many weeks are you usually when your doctor starts to check your cervix?

I was never checked my dr said there is a risk of infection. I got checked just before get induced at 39 weeks

I got checked at 36 and now at 38. I think they will be checking again at 39.

Most at 36 weeks. I got checked today at 35 weeks but I have been diagnosed with pre eclampsia and will deliver at 37 weeks.

I was checked at 36 weeks the first time. They checked me again today, I'm 37+4, and I'm 1.5 cm dilated 70% effaced.  So I suspect that the will check me at my next appointment too if I've not gone into labor by then.

My doctor is starting me next week and I'll be 36 weeks.

This is my 3rd baby, and I have never been checked internally. My Dr.'s don't think it's necessary and doesn't give any pertinant information.  It could potentially introduce infection. Baby will come when it's ready!

Every doctors different.  Im 38weeks and my doctor hasn't checked me yet. But I think normally its around 36 weeks
