I bought all my big things earlier on in pregnancy, had car seats, cribs, etc by 25 weeks. I picked up lots of newborn clothes, swing, snap and gogo and high chairs before my baby shower. I then asked people to buy me diapers, wipes, and clothes that were larger for my baby shower. I'm having twins and couldn't possibly wait for my baby shower to be over before getting things and setting all of it up because I'm too exhausted at this point. I was glad
I got everything early.

I would hold off, only because you'll by everything you really want and then it will be hard to fill up your registry....better of "window shopping" by creating your registry. This Wii also help you pick out a theme and price shop various stores.

But definitely pick up that adorable onesie!

I would say wait, till after.your baby shower but their are many things you can start purchasing now such as wipes, diapers, shampoo, lotions, breast pads if you are planning to breastfeed. Those things you will use for a couple years so you cant go wrong. Even bigger things if you don't think you will get in a baby showersuch as; crib, stroller car seat. I'll be 30  weeks tomorow so I will get started this weekend.... Yay!
