Contractions but mucus plug still there?
I'm 38 weeks and been having contractions since yesterday night some are up to 34 seconds and 5-10min apart but no mucus plug.. I'm scheduled for c section on Friday... but what does it mean to have contractions and no mucus plug?
You may have lost it without knowing. It doesn't always come out as one piece. I would call up your doctor and let them know what's going on. Seeing as you are scheduled for a c section, I'm assuming you shouldn't have a vaginal delivery, so definitely call them up. If you're having 5 or more contractions in an hour, I'd assume you are in (at least the early stage) of labor. Good luck mama!
