What To Scan While Registering?!?!

I'm being thrown a baby shower on December 8th. Invitations go out this coming Wednesday. So I only have tomorrow to go register at Target. Thing is, I've never done this before! I've been putting it off for too long. Guess cause I don't know what all to scan! Of course bottles and diapers, wipes, but what else is sufficient? Do I go all out and scan a bassinet, breast pump, baby clothes, changing table? Would that be pushing it? Do I just scan smaller things or everything? Lol Help! :(

Oh wow I didn't know some of that stuff! Thanks SO much ladies for all the info! I didn't know you can exchange the diapers for another size. Good to know! And I figured scanning a crib, stroller, & car seat, was out of the question. But it's really good to know other ppl agree that it's ok to go ahead and register all that stuff. Because so far we don't have anything but some baby clothes I bought. And I'm due in about 8 weeks! Thanks again everyone!

Yes! Register for the big stuff. Your parents and significant others parents and then grandparents usually get you that good stuff (crib, basinet, car seat, high chair, stroller, changing table and even the breast pump) then your extended families and friends get you the bottles, burp clothes, blankets, onsies (you can never have enough of those), bibs, pacifiers, bottle brushes, breast cream, diaper cream, baby lotion, baby shampoo, rash cream all those things others will get. And as for diapers and wipes your significant others friends should throw him a "Diaper Party". And they can get together at a bar, hang out, eat drink or at someones house have a poker night and drink and wherever its at each guest brings a package of diapers of any size and you are then set for a loooong time. And if you have more than you need of one size and your baby is moving to the next size Walmart and Target are great about exchanging them.

Don't forget the car seat, stroller,  high chair,  crib & mattress.  With the big ticket items people will buy in groups of friends to divide the cost.  Also, you can purchase with gift cards that you get if no one actually purchased them.

Scan the things you really wouldn't want to have to pay for yourself. I'd have a good range as far as prices are concerned, but stay away from the small things. The more tiny junk you register for, the less likely you'll be to get what you really need. I wouldn't register for clothes; you'll get those anyway.
