Tucks wipes in witch hazel work, suppositories work very fast and much better though. They keep them away for a few days. They never fully go away. Just shrink. I'm had them 7 yrs ( after first son was born) after baby 3 is out I am getting them removed as well. They are awful! Oh also being heavy, and standing long periods of time makes them swell more. U can also take a warm salt bath, but suppositories will shrink them from within and outward.

I got them from delivering my son because he was over 10 lbs and I pushed for almost 5 hours to get him out. They were internal because you couldn't see them. Or maybe I had a fissure. Idk. But it was the most painful thing I ever experienced. More painful than labor I think because labor only lasts so long and I had hemorrhoids for years after having my son. The first three months I could barely sit down and I cried every time I had to go number 2. It was horrendous. I used alot of different things. The one thing that helped the most was preparation H that had a little tube thing on the end that I could put up there and squeeze the stuff out. I used to sit on the boppy pillow when I was driving and at home cuz it has the hole in the middle. If I get them this time I'm going to get surgery and have them removed because I am not going through that again! Good luck I hope yours aren't as bad and that they go away after you have your baby!

If you don't want to go medicated you can put honey on them and it might take a little while but they will reduce in swelling. You may need to wear a panty liner but, it worked for me. My grandmother gave me this advice and she had three children so that's what she used.
