Bloody gush but Dr. not worried!?

I'm 24 weeks pregnant, and we just finished a quick round of intercourse.  I had a thin, watery gush of blood down my leg when I stood up...No clots. It felt like I was peeing. I called my Dr. right away, but he seems to think it was just a ruptured membrane since I have no cramping whatsoever. In typical womanly fashion, I explained I was still quite panicked because yesterday my baby was so active I couldn't fall sleep at night, but today I have only felt her have hiccups once, and that was earlier today...No other movement that i have noticed. The bleeding has stopped, but I can't seem to settle my mind down enough to relax. Does the ruptured membrane sound legit?

I went to the Dr today. He said a blood vessel ruptured so no sexual activity for a week at least. He said the baby is kicking like a true ballerina and had a strong heart beat. We're going to do an ultra sound next week to be sure everything is good. Thanks for all of your input!!

Ok I made myself lay down since posting, and I've counted 6 kicks. That was about 20 minutes ago. Thank you ladies for listening and advising!! Even though he said to only call back if there were more problems, I called him and let him know about the movement and he feels confident even more so now it was a ruptured membrane. I go in for a check tomorrow afternoon and we will make sure!

I had a scare today. And was asked if I had sex which I hadn't but the midwife went on to explain that it can haooen after sex. So I wouldnt bee too concerned, but I would get it checked out anyway. Just to be in the safe side. Goodluck
