Cyst

I had a vaginal ultra sound a couple weeks ago to determine my due date (my cycles had been atypical for a couple months). The sono tech found a cyst on my left ovary. Has anyone else had a cyst during pregnancy? Did you experience any discomfort of complications from it?

I had 18 on my right ovary the month before I got pregnant. I have had pcos since I was a teen. This is my third pregnancy.

I had a VERY large cyst on my right ovary with my first pregnancy.  I experianced some extreme discomfort one night and went to the ER.  I had only just found out I was pregnant so I got very worried I was miscarrying.  Turns out it was a very large cyst.  They monitored it and it eventually ruptured on its own.  They should monitor it to make sure it doesn't twist but it will most likely go away on it's own.  I am now 6 weeks and 4 days with my second and am hopping I do not have any cysts this time around because it can be scary but it helps to know that they usually go away on their own and you get more sonograms :)
