New mum to be

Hi everyone, I have just found out I am pregnant and it's my first baby. I'm 27 and I'm about 5 weeks. I have had serious cramping and very light brown spotting, is this normal? Also feeling nausea and wondering what week does that stop?! Thanks guys x

The doctors said I'm not far enough along to even worry! As if they didn't really care. Hopefully it's just nothing, I have read a lot of people have it and like you say have normal pregnancies x

If you're having bad cramping you should get checked out.

Severe cramping and spotting isn't "normal", but a lot of women get it and go on to have healthy pregnancies.  As long as you don't need a pad, I wouldn't worry.  The nausea will stop around week 12-14. If you're lucky.
