Drinking Water

As an expectant mom I feel guilty because I don't drink as much water as I should. I hate drinking water. I almost gag to get half a cup down. I have to be extremely thirsty to drink it ice cold. I drink a lot of juice and  I limit my intake of soda and tea.Any suggestions as to how I should approach drinking more water?.

I made a water with cucumber mint and lemons, and it was so good, try it mama maybe you'll like it

And also there are a lot of vitamins and minerals found in your common prenatal vitamins, that are most definitely are needed but are difficult to pronounce. :)

I add different fruits to my water, like strawberries,  tangerine even lemon slices and cucumber

Try adding a squeezed lemon to your water that will add flavor

Well I actually I l can pronounce it ;) And one drop isn't going to cause any harm. If that were the case...all 6 of my children would have conditions, plus this baby I am expecting. But that's not the case :)

Sweetners are still chemicals silly! If you cant pronounce it, stay away!

I hate drinking water too, I just top my juice up with a bit of water, makes you drink water & makes your juice last longer :)

Try lemon water. At the beginning of my pregnancies that's the only way I could drink it and I love water. Now I drink it how ever but still other it with lemon a little tart but sooooo good.

The flavours you add to water have aspartame..i would stay away! Try adding lemon and lime! Or cucumber!

I loved water at the start then went off it my dr said drink spring water or flavoured water if I can't drink plain if thats any help x

You need water!!! Lots of it!! Try using flavor enhancers like Crystal light (liquid). Or squeezing a bit of fresh Orange juice in your water. Or trying a lager pitcher of a little of both fresh squeezed lime juice with fresh cut slices of cucumbers in the water. It gives the water a fresh boost flavor, making it easier to drink. Try also adding ice, so you drink the water but at the same time are eating the ice, either way your getting much needed water!!

Eat watermelon...mixed with water make a shake or eat it plain. I was like that at the begining water made me nauseous. Don't add sugar that way you can drink up 2 litters at day!!!
