Sparking water is a great idea! Check the nutrition label before you buy bc some have bad ingredients like aspertame. There are plenty of seltzers that have natural flavoring and are delish!
Once you get closer to your due date they say the number one reason for false labor is dehydration. So you go through all those contractions and as soon as they get fluids into you they will stop. I don't know about you but I only want to start the labor process once! Haha. Stay hydrated!!!!
I put lemon, sliced cucumbers and mint leaves in water and shake it with ice. It's so refreshing.
Try squeezing a little bit of fresh lemon in the bottle. Its absolutely delicious and refreshing!! And very good for you
I personally get mine from Tesco, any of your local supermarket will sell it, I think Tescos own brand of it is lovely & they do quite a few flavours aswell. Plus its better to drink something with a bit of flavour too instead of plain water I think:-)
Leoni_Leigh I would like to try. Is that the brand name sparkling I think I know what you are talking about
I also haven't drunk much water and I'm 33 weeks. But I don't enjoy the plain taste of water so I've began drinking sparkling flavoured water which seems to be a lot healthier than any other sugar fizzy drinks. Just a suggestion you should try :)
Oh I don't want that to happen.. I will have to make the effort to drink water more everyday instead every other time.
I would start now. Not only is it good for baby, it's good for you! I drink water pretty regularly and didn't for a few days. I ended up with kidney stones which are incredibly painful. Plus, once you get them you have a tendency to get them again and again! I put a ton of ice and a lemon or lime and that helps!
Thanks. I will have to try that infused water. It's so hard for me to drink water now, before my pregnancy that's actually what I would drink most of the time.
Buy either a large cup you can fill with ice water or litre sized water bottles. Because there is more in the container, you will automatically drink more. As soon as its empty, refill it & take it with you everywhere. If you have trouble drinking straight water, try adding a little lemon juice or slicing up fruits, berries or cucumbers and make infused waters. They taste delicious and are much better for you than sugary sodas or juices. I also find that lightly sweetened, home brewed decaf tea is delicious on these hot days too!
Baby will pull what they need. You will probably gain more wait if it's sugary beverages you drink. But I am 8months I try to drink 4 bottles of water a day some days I make it some days I don't.
